Sakhi today I am telling you a story of a daughter.
Today where the world is taking giant steps in areas of technology and science and education and other several spheres of life, several societies prefer to remain uninfluenced by the new change. People are tempted to follow the old ways of thinking and do unimaginable backward march.
The daughter that I am going to talk about to you was one such very unfortunate one. She had everything for life like clothes and love and care in the family. The small girl just may not have understood what lay ahead in life. Since she was taken care of by the parents and all her needs were met she was one of the happiest daughters of parents.Barring one shocking incident life was moving ahead smoothly.She could complete her education up to graduation.Daughter was appropriately married off to a city boy.
A mother of two children she could see that a lot of wrong things had been set in motion by her own people.Not that she did not realise the abnormal incidents that shook her life when she was just 10 year old girl.
Though her father's decision looked very harsh and objectionable, overall life was not disturbed.No one questioned her father. Mother could barely prevent him from giving away the daughter.The unshakable trust that the daughter had in her father hid all the seriousness of the incident
Father told mother that life sometimes created unimaginable circumstances and that the current decision would not bring misfortune to their daughter.
Marriage took place and the in laws were told that the girl inherited huge agricultural land.
